The BookFest Book Awards
You Are Capable of More was named a Second Place winner in Nonfiction, Self-Help: Transformation at The BookFest Book Awards, Fall 2026, its third international book award since its August release.

A book about becoming more
Transformation is the category for books that set out to change the reader, not just inform them. That is exactly what this book was written to do. It starts with a survey of more than 200 working adults, where 92% said they believe they are capable of more than they are living, and then works through what actually holds people back: self-doubt and fear of failure, being too busy, comfort, and waiting for the right time.
Ten principles across ownership, discipline and growth, a playbook to keep using, and free tools on this site that carry the work past the last page.
Three rounds of vetting
The BookFest Book Awards recognize outstanding fiction and nonfiction from traditional, independent and self-published authors. Places are awarded on score, so a category can have no second place at all if no book rates high enough.
Eligibility
An initial team checks every entry for eligibility and confirms it sits in the right category.
Expert Judges
Judges with expertise in the genre score each book against a judging form, and the ratings are averaged.
Final Evaluation
The BookFest Bellwethers, a panel from the literary and entertainment world, make the final evaluations.
